East Setauket was settled in 1655 and was the colonial epicenter of General George Washington’s Culper Spy Ring during the American Revolutionary War. Rich in preserved history, it features Setauket Harbor, the historic 1729 Caroline Episcopal Church, the 1714 Presbyterian Church, and the Frank Melville Memorial Park.
