Incorporated in 1913, Shoreham is a historic North Shore cliffside village. At the turn of the 20th century, brilliant inventor Nikola Tesla built his famous Wardenclyffe laboratory and world wireless transmission tower here, which is preserved today as the Tesla Science Center at Wardenclyffe.
